Moving along!

I am currently working on the seventh draft of "Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage." I’m now knee deep in the details of the book. I’m very happy with how this book is turning out. There’s a whole lot going on in the book, but I’m working hard to make it a great story that flows well. Take care.

Thanks!

I would like to thank everyone who has given me a rating or review on goodreads.com or amazon.com. The reviews have really encouraged me as a writer and help me keep the writing faith. I emailed someone very special and told her how I desperately wanted my next book to be as well received as the first book. She emailed me back and told me that all writers worry about that. Those words helped me. Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage is coming very close to being finished. It will be finished probably in the next month and a half or sooner. Then it will be read for the first time by someone other than me. I have to tell you they're butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it, but I bravely go forward hoping for the best. The new book should be out sometime in early spring.  Have a happy holiday season. Take care and remember the magic is in the journey. T. E. Antonino

Books are in the oven!

I just started a new giveaway on goodreads.com for my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I’m including Great Britain in this giveaway along with the USA. I’m also getting closer to being done with Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. The new Fritz Fombie book is a lot longer than the first one. It also has a lot more going on and has a lot of characters in each scene. I want it to flow as nicely as the first book. It’s proving to be quite the challenge because of its increased complexity. I’m working on the ending right now. I should have the book ready to send to my editor by January. I did more preliminary illustrations for the book as well. I’m also excited that I’ll soon be back to working on Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room. I also have been doing preliminary drawings for this book. Take care and have a happy holiday season!

update on books!

I’m almost to the end of my fifth draft of "Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage." I’m hoping to have the book done by early January. Once I’m finished with "Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage," I’ll finish up "Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room."  I’m on the third draft of that book. I hope to have both books out before the end of summer or sooner. I’ve done the preliminary work on the front cover of "Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage." I’m almost done with the front cover for "Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room." Once I know the chapter breaks in those books, I’ll start doing the inside illustrations. I’ll have one illustration at the beginning of each chapter. "Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage" is currently at 37,000 words, so it will be around 12,000 to 13,000 words longer than the first Fritz Fombie book. "Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room" will run around 40,000 words when finished. Things are coming along well with both books. Take care and have a great weekend.

Two more books coming in 2016!

I have decided to publish two books in 2016. I will publish Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage and Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room. I’m on the fifth draft of Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage, and I’m on the third draft of Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room. I’m very excited to see how they will be received. Fritz Fombie Have No Fear was received with much positivity from readers' reviews on amazon and Goodreads. Both the Portland Book Review and the Manhattan Book Review gave it stellar ratings. Gouie and the Outrageously Dirty Room is a stand-alone book.
The middle-grade writing class that I spoke to is going to send me a letter in the mail. I’m very excited to hear what the kids thought of my hour long babbling and my book. It was a great experience to see young kids interested in writing. Take care and have a happy Thanksgiving.

In store sales!

I have my book Fritz Fombie Have No fear in several brick and mortar stores. The book is available at the Blue Ridge bookstore and the Mountain Home Collection in Waynesville, NC. The book is also available at The Battery Park Book Exchange and Papoose Children’s Clothing & More in Asheville, NC. I’m starting to get in-store sales, which is really cool. My reviews are still coming in on amazon.com and goodreads.com, which I’m really thankful for. I’ve started to advertise on amazon for my book as well.
I’m starting to see the finish line for Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. I should have that book finished in the next couple of months. My editor and niece Hannah Krieger just received first prize in a short story writing contest. She won a trip to visit Arizona State University for four days. Hannah Krieger will also be the editor of the new Fritz Fombie book. Take care.

Library Appearance!

The library appearance went well. I read from Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, did a manga art lesson for the kids, and also read from picture books for the little kids. It was a fun time, and I really liked working with Lisa Hartzell, the children's librarian. I wore a Fritz Fombie outfit. Some of the kids wore their Halloween costumes as well. I hope to go back to the library for an author day in the spring. I will keep you posted on upcoming events when they draw closer. I am looking forward to hearing back from the middle school creative writing class I visited last week. Eight of the kids are reading my book, Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I'll let you know what they thought of the book as soon as I know. Take care. T. E. Antonino.

Middle school creative writing class!

I spoke to a middle school creative writing class about my book. It was a wonderful experience. I loved sharing my joy of writing with young people who also have a love for writing. I hope I was able to encourage them in their writing journey. I spoke a lot about the actual novel writing process, which was fun. I also talked about marketing a book from a self-published author’s perspective. I even had the chance to talk a little bit about manga, which is Japanese comic art. I used manga type artwork in the illustrations that went into my book. I’m looking forward to hearing how they liked the book as each of the students received a copy of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I love to see the fellowship of writers both young and old. My next appearance will be at the Waynesville library on Friday the 30th at 4:00 p.m. I will be giving a reading from my book, a manga art lesson, and if there are little ones, I will read from picture books, so that fun will abound for everyone. Take care.

The Manhattan Review Awesome!

T.E. Antonino takes his readers on a whirlwind ride full of imagination and mischievous fun. In Fritz Frombie Have No Fear, Mr. Antonino delivers a fun, whimsical, eccentric suspenseful story that will take readers on one amusing journey of self discovery. With a relatable heroine, the author weaves a story that will entice young bookworms to get lost in a story of a young heroine discovering her inner strength and facing her fears. With an engaging cast of characters that are relatable for young elementary students, Mr. Antonino creates a story where our imaginations can soar.
“Whistle a tune and what you want most will happen soon.”
Fannie is a fourth grader who has so many fears. She is afraid of so many things and she keeps a list of her fears. It seems her list of fears are endless. Luckily for Fannie, her best friend, Abby accepts her and all her fears. When her school has a school hop dance, Fannie fears that another girl will ask the boy that she likes out. So yet again, she has another fear to tack onto her list. But one of one her greatest fear is when her parents go away for the weekend. Fannie fears that “Stink Warts,” the monster under her bed will get her. So when her parents had to go away for the weekend, Fannie never expected to have Fritz Fombie magically appear and help her face each one of her fears. Fritz Fombie is a young zombie, but he is none of those scary walking dead kind. As Fannie tackles each of her fears with the help of Fritz Fombie and her friend Abby, she takes readers on a fun and humorous whirlwind of crazy antics that is both suspenseful and entertaining.
Though this book is about a young heroine and her crazy adventure, this book really emphasize the important lesson of courage, friendship, honesty, and not letting your fears hinder you from enjoying life. So if you are looking for a book that is entertaining, suspenseful, fun, colorful, and teaches an important valuable life lesson, then I highly recommend this book for young readers, parents, and librarians.

Great news!

I will be talking to a middle school creative writing class on October 22nd. I'm very excited to share my experience of bringing a book to publication with the middle school students. I've had to wear many hats as a self-published author, so I will be able to talk to the students about everything from how to handle viewpoint to ways to market a book. I'm still learning new things weekly, but I feel I have acquired worthwhile knowledge along the way. You're never too old or too young to start writing stories. Just keep writing and learning, and sooner or later you'll become a published author. Writing Fritz Fombie Have No Fear has become one of the greatest joys of my life. I hope the middle school students I talk to will also have that joy of bringing a book to publication one day. Take care.
Today I just received an exceptional review from the Manhattan Book Review. I will post a link once they put it up on there site.

Halloween at the library!

The Waynesville public library in N.C. has rescheduled my appearance for October 30th. The great news is that it will be the day before Halloween. Since my book has a message of overcoming fear, the librarian thought it would be great for me to appear on Friday the 30th. I’ll do a reading from my book, a signing for those who want to buy the book, a manga art lesson for the kids, and I’ll also read some children's picture books to the little kids if they come with the older kids. The librarian also asked me if I would like to go to the Waynesville fair grounds for a fall festival celebration on the 31st. I will be selling my book there also. It looks like the end of October is going to be an exciting time for me and my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear.

Amazing review!

I just had an amazing review from a lady who picked my book up at a convention I went to. Her daughter isn’t a big reader, but she read my book all the way through on her own and told her mother she loved it! That made me feel great! Encouragement like this makes me glad I picked Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to be my first published book. I’m writing away on the second book in the Fritz Fombie series. It’s titled Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. The Waynesville library made a scheduling mistake for my September appearance, so I will be appearing there sometime in October for a signing, reading, and manga art lesson for the kids. I'll let you know for sure when I know the exact date and time. Take care and thank you for the encouraging reviews!

Book expo and more appearances!

The Imaginarium went well. I sold a bunch of books and met some wonderful authors. I’m currently reading some of the other authors' books. I had a lot of fun at the masquerade dance. I went as Fritz Fombie. Some of my family was at the Imaginarium including my niece, Hannah Krieger, who is also my editor. Some of the other authors who have read my book have already given me reviews on Amazon, which is greatly appreciated. I’ll be returning the favor as soon as I finish reading their books. I'm looking forward to Saturday, September 26th when I’ll be appearing at the Waynesville N.C. library at 11:00 a.m. I will also be appearing the next day on Sunday September 27th at Papoose Children’s Store in downtown Asheville N.C. at 2:00 p.m. Take care.

The Imaginarium Convention Is Here!

The Imaginarium convention is this weekend! I will have a vendor table at the convention. It's going to be a really exciting time for me. This will be my first book expo. I'm not sure what to expect. I designed a Fritz Fombie outfit for the masquerade on Saturday evening. The lady who edited my book will be helping me at my table all weekend. Her name is Hannah krieger. I will give everyone the details of the convention when I get back later next week. Thank you for all your encouragement, it's much appreciated.
I dropped a book off today to a lady whose grandson is having difficulty with fear. While I was in her office another lady came in who told me how much the message of the book meant to her. It is a wonderful feeling to know that my book "Fritz Fombie Have No Fear" is touching lives in such a positive way.

Heart Warming

I just received a phone call from a grandmother who bought three of my books a few months ago. She asked me to drop off another copy at her workplace. One of her grandchildren is having trouble being overly fearful. She believes my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear can help her grandson see that you can be happy and don’t have to let fear take away your joy. I have received many stories like this one since the release of my book. I’m overjoyed to think that Fritz Fombie Have No Fear can be such a positive book for children. I have written other middle-grade books that I loved writing as well, but I’m very glad that I chose this one to publish first. Regardless of where life takes me, I will always be happy that I wrote a book that has helped children to have a happier childhood. Thanks for all your encouragement. T. E. Antonino.

Review

Portland Book Review

Fritz Fombie Have No Fear receives the Portland Book Review’s highest 5 star rating.

Sometimes it’s hard for kids to admit that they have fears, and even harder to conquer said fears. Parents find ways to reassure their children that nothing is under their bed or in their closets at night. They will check their closets and under their bed or let them sleep with them, but then there is that point where parents need to give their children tools to conquer their fears on their own and this is a great starting place - especially for kids who are too old to keep sleeping with Mom and Dad.

In this delightful chapter book targeted for children 8-13 years old, we meet Fannie who has multiple fears and has a hard time in conquering them. After a horrible, scary day, Fannie accidentally calls up the vast and unknown powers of the universe and meets Fritz who finally will help her conquer her fears. The good thing is that Fritz is a zombie, which actually helps her and doesn’t create more problems. I know you would think a zombie would be the last person to help Fannie, but it’s the person that she needs the most. Not only does Fannie meet, Fritz, she also meets his pet, a monster named Stink Warts!

Antonino’s goal in writing this was to give kids the power to conquer their own fears that they never realized that they had - to look deep inside themselves and find that they can take care of themselves just fine. I think that any child who reads this will realize that they have the power and tools to conquer anything that may come their way, whether it’s a monster under the bed, a bully at school, or going to the dentist. Sometimes parents need help in helping their kids and this reviewer thinks this book is a great starting point.

Fritz Fombie second draft and the Imaginarium book expo

I am currently getting ready for the Imaginarium in Louisville, KY. The Imaginarium is a book expo. My upcoming appearance at the Imaginarium allowed me to have the opportunity of designing a really cool marketing image of Fritz. I have him in a ballet type position, with his hands in the air and with his tongue sticking out. I think it captures the essence of Fritz and the book all together in one image. It was fun to draw.
I just finished taking notes on my first draft of the second Fritz Fombie book. Starting today I have begun my second draft. I won’t lie, I was a little nervous reading through the first draft for the first time. I’m happy to say I think it’s going to be another cool book. I broke loose on this second book and took a lot of chances. It is definitely a children’s fantasy book. There are a lot of characters in almost every scene. I wanted it to have an open and spacious feel to it. I let my imagination run wild and didn’t hold back at all. Hopefully when it’s done I’ll have a book that greatly captivates the reader. I know the way I wrote this next one was taking a big chance, but I decided not to play it safe. The name of the new book is Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. Thank you for all your encouragement

Appearance at the Mountain Home Collection in downtown Waynesville on Wednesday July 22nd at 2:00 P.M.

Looking forward to another reading and signing. After the signing I will be giving a manga art lesson for the kids. Helping the kids to explore their creativity is definitely the biggest reward I receive from the manga art lessons. Papoose children’s store in downtown Asheville will soon be carrying Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. My book is already being carried by the Battery Park Book Exchange in downtown Asheville. There is a possibility of a third downtown Asheville store that may be interested in carrying my book, but I need to talk with them to confirm. The Blue Ridge Book Store in downtown Waynesville is carrying my book along with the Mahogany house art gallery and studios. The Waynesville library and Canton library are also carrying my book. I’m still receiving positive reviews locally and on goodreads.com. I’ve also received positive reviews on amazon.com. Hopefully I’ll continue to receive more positive reviews. I want to thank the readers of my book for all the encouragement that they have given me. Take care.

Appearance at the Waynesville library

I had a wonderful time at the Waynesville library today. There were a bunch of little kids at the reading, so I volunteered to read a couple of children's picture books along with  Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. When I gave the reading from Fritz Fombie Have No Fear even the little kids seemed to really be enjoying it,which I think was great. The manga art lesson that I put on went over great too. I will be having another appearance at the waynesville library in the fall. Take care.

Appearance art gallery

I had an amazing time at the Mahogany House Art Gallery and Studios. My appearance and signing fell on the Art After Dark summer event. I met many wonderful people and had a lot of interesting conversations. I was also happy to have sold many books during my appearance there. One lady said that she was going to send Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to her granddaughter in England. It appears that my book is going to make it to England before I do, which I think is really cool. I’m very thankful to the owner of the Mahogany House Art Gallery and Studios for letting me have a signing at her art gallery. Next up is my appearance at the Waynesville Library on Wednesday the 15th of July from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I will be doing a reading and manga art lesson for the kids. Books will be available for purchase. Things are going great for Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I will be done with the first draft of the second book in the Fritz Fombie series this week, which I’m feeling great about. I have multiple characters, usually 5 to 6 characters, in most scenes. It has been a real challenge to keep the flow of the story smooth and natural with all of the characters, but I’m putting my heart into it so wish me the best. Thanks for supporting me and my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015

I have three scheduled appearances so far for July. I will be appearing at the Mahogany House Art Gallery in Waynesville on Friday July 3rd at 6:00 p.m., that day falls on Art After Dark Day. I will be appearing at the Waynesville library on Wednesday July 15th from 11:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. I will be giving a manga art lesson at the library as well as a reading. I will be appearing at the Mountain Home Collection in Waynesville on Saturday July 18th at 2:00 pm. I will be doing a reading and manga art lesson there also. I have more exciting news. I will have a vendor table at the 2015 Imaginarium in Louisville, KY. I will be there from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 13th of September. Thanks to the sales of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear I’m able to make the trip to the Imaginarium in Louisville. I thank those who have encouraged me by embracing the book.  I have had an abundance of positive feedback from those who have read Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, both from children and adults, which makes writing the next book in the Fritz Fombie series a joy. I will let you know more about the Imaginarium in Louisville when the date draws nearer. Take care.

Teachers

I want to share happy news about my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I’m happy to see how well Fritz Fombie Have No Fear is being received by teachers. One of my reviews on goodreads.com was by a teacher who is going to put Fritz Fombie Have No Fear in her school library so that all the kids at the school will have a chance to read the book. The very next day I had a lady who bought my book to donate to a local school tell me that the teacher she gave the book to read it and loved it. That teacher called her up and told her that she was excited to put Fritz Fombie Have No Fear in her school library. I’m very glad to see that Fritz Fombie Have No Fear and its message that children are bigger than their fears is being embraced by children and teachers. I’m over halfway through the first draft of the new Fritz Fombie book Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. I’m hoping to release the new book in the beginning of 2016. Take care and have a great week.

Good Things

I just sent my book off to the San Francisco Review. I had a choice between having an older child or an adult do the review, so I picked the older child. An adult will be doing the review for the Portland Review. Both reviews should be completed in 8 to 10 weeks. It will be interesting to see the difference between what an adult thinks of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear and what an older child thinks of the book. I will post the reviews from The Portland Book Review and The San Francisco Book Review when they come in. Both reviews should be around 300 words.
Local sales of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear are going great and I have had more great comments come in from readers of the book, both adults and children. I have more appearances coming up in July. I will post the dates of my appearances soon.
The second book in the Fritz Fombie series is about halfway through the first draft. It will take several more drafts before it’s finished. My second giveaway is ahead of my first giveaway, which ended with 918 contestants. This giveaway should have a lot more contestants than the first one once it ends. Thanks so much for your encouragement. I’m so grateful that so many people have rallied around this book. It has touched people's lives in ways I couldn’t have imagined while writing Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. Many people live with fear, so I’m glad to write a book with the positive message of overcoming fear. It’s a whimsical, funny, and suspenseful story, but it also helps children to see they're bigger than their fears. I’m proud to have written a book like Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. Thank you and take care.

REVIEW

I have confirmed an appearance at the Waynesville public library on July 15th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. I’ll be doing a reading and a manga art lesson for the kids. Hopefully I will also make an appearance at the Lake Junaluska kids camp, although I still need to confirm. I mailed off my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to be reviewed by the Portland Book Review. I should have that review back in 6 to 10 weeks. I’m still working away on the second book in the Fritz Fombie series. I’ve started my second giveaway for Fritz Fombie Have No Fear on Goodreads. So far on my first giveaway I’ve received 3 good ratings  for my book on Goodreads. I also had my first review from one of the winners of my book on a Goodreads contest and it was very positive. I look forward in continuing my writing career as positivity has surrounded my book and has given me encouragement as a writer. Thank you for supporting me in this endeavor.

Monday, May 25, 2015

I’m currently writing the next book in the Fritz Fombie series. The title of the book is Fritz Fombie and the Frightful Feats of Courage. The current book that just came out, Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, has been a local success. I just finished a Goodreads giveaway with the book and it was very positive with 400 readers putting the book on their To-Read shelf. Hopefully as readers give reviews of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, it will begin to gather interest nationally. In the meantime, I’m writing away on the new Fritz Fombie book. The new book has an abundance of new creatures never seen in writing before. After overcoming fear in the first book, Fannie embraces courage in this book. The story becomes bigger and more complex, and I'm working hard to hold the story together. This new book is very ambitious. I hope to deliver an amazing book that is completely unique in its creativity. I tried to stay clear from any other book that is on the market and truly put something out there that is one of a kind in every way. The second book should be out early next year. I’m also working to set up more appearances this summer for the first book.  I'll let you know when the appearances will be scheduled. Thank you for your support!  Take care.

Friday, May 15, 2015

I have some very positive updates for Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I would like to thank all of the readers on Goodreads for supporting me. As the contest comes to a close, I currently have 855 entries and we still have five hours left in the contest. We also have over 389 readers who have added Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to their bookshelves. Once again, thank you so much for your support. Something happened today that meant the world to me. A grandma I know bought my book for her grandson two days ago. She didn’t have cash with her at the time, so she told me she would pay me the next day. The next day, she brought me two one dollar bills and four dollars in change inside of a plastic bag. When she handed me the money, she told me that her grandson loved the book so much that he wanted to pay for it himself and took the money out of his piggy bank. She told me that he wouldn’t put the book down and almost read the entire book in one day. He told his grandma that he wanted to take the book with him on the family vacation. The grandmother told me that she now wants to buy Fritz Fombie Have No Fear for all of the local schools. After hearing stories like these, I will always be happy and have no misgivings for the long hours and hard work I put into writing and illustrating Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. Thank you once again for entering the contest to win a copy of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I look forward to reading your comments and seeing your ratings of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. The goodreads contest came to an end with 918 readers requesting a copy. The on-to-read shelf came in at 387 readers. Thanks!

Battery Park Book Exchange

Battery Park Book Exhchange

The reading went well at the Battery Park Book Exchange. A really cool thing happened after the reading. A fourteen-year-old boy who is a big reader asked his mom if he could also have a copy of the book. From the feedback I have been getting over Fritz Fombie Have No Fear it seems that older children also like the book as much as the younger children. When writing the book, I wrote it to make me laugh, too, so that might be the reason older children and many adults have really enjoyed the book. I’m meeting with a librarian in Asheville, so hopefully I can give more readings and manga art lessons in the Asheville area. Remember kids, you're bigger than your fears no matter how big or small you are and that’s the message of Fritz Fombie Have No Fear.

My appearance at the Christians Writers fellowship of WNC went well. They were all very supportive of my book Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. As I did my reading from the book I tried to portray the characters the way I have envisioned them. So basically I put on a small theater production. One of the members told me she would have loved for me to have read the whole book right then and there, which really made me smile. I have a background in acting so I was happy to see the reading go so well. One of the hardest things about a self-published book is letting people know it exists. So I'm very happy to see that people are now buying the book on referrals from other people. I believe reviews and word of mouth is the best way to get a book moving. I'm thankful to goodreads.com because they're allowing Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to be read by people who I would have never been able to reach otherwise. I will be appearing at the Battery Park Book Exchange in downtown Asheville on Saturday April 25th from 12:00-1:30 pm. I will do a reading at 12:30. I will also be giving away a crotchet hat of one of my characters in the book. The Battery Park Book Exchange is located in the Grove Arcade. Happy Reading!

Things are going well with Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. I've received a lot of local interest. The Blue Ridge Book Store in downtown Waynesville is carrying my book. The Waynesville public library has purchased two of my books. I have five upcoming appearances in the Waynesville and Asheville area.
I just had a ten year old who read my book tell me she had a crush on Fritz, which is pretty cool since he is a zombie. A 12 year old read my book in one day. She told her parents she just had to finish and told me that she loved the book. My book giveaway on goodreads.com will be over in about a month. Once I mail out Fritz Fombie Have No Fear to the winners I should get back plenty of reviews. I'm very excited to see what kind of reviews I'll receive. Thanks for everyone who believed in me and the book. I'm working away on the second book in the Frtiz Fombie series.

April is going to be an active month for my book, Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. Now that it's available on Amazon, I need to start getting the word out. I love to talk about my book. I priced the book so anyone who wanted to buy the book would be able to. The kindle version of my book comes out this week. I start a Goodreads book giveaway from April 1st to May14th. I'm giving away 30 copies of my book at the end of the giveaway time period. The target range for my book is 8 years old on the low end and 13 years old on the high end, although the adults who read the book have really enjoyed it, which is really cool. I'm doing several book readings and signings in April. I will post the places and times this weekend. Take care and happy reading.

I just met an older gentleman who, after finding out about the book I wrote, went on to tell me about the stories he would make up about the things his children would wonder about. One of the greatest benefits I have received from writing Fritz Fombie Have No Fear is hearing how books or verbal stories have affected people in such positive ways. It seems people from all walks of life come alive when I talk about or show them the book I wrote. Books seem to be one of the few things that bring all people together in a positive and hopeful way, no matter whether you're the writer or the reader. Remember you're bigger than your fears even if you're still on the under side of four feet.

Fritz Fombie Have No Fear has been successfully launched. It's at the top of the first page of the "kids overcoming fear" word search on Amazon. The easy way to find the book is to type in the title on the amazon word search. It will take a week or two until the look inside feature on Amazon is available for the book. At that point you should be able to read 10% of the book before you decide whether or not to buy it. It should also be ready for the Kindle in less than two weeks.

I hope kids will find Fritz Fombie Have No Fear exciting, funny, and suspenseful. May our kids live fearlessly with smiles aglow. I thank all those who have supported me. The journey has just begun. Thank you!

After six months of writing and illustrating, my book, Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, is one mouse click away from being published. CreateSpace has my proof copy in the mail. I'll read it and if all is good, it will soon become available for purchase on Amazon.
As a  writer, I've put my heart and soul into Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. It's terrifying as I wait to see what will become of this endeavor that I've undertaken, but I'm also filled with hope at the same time. I tried to write an imaginatively wild story, yet through all the fun and whimsical flow of the book I tried to earnestly help children to see that they're bigger than their fears. My feelings have soared and fallen like a boat in the ocean in the last couple of months. Wish me luck as Fritz Fombie Have No Fear finds its way into the hands of kids. May the joy of a sunny day find a home in every child's heart.

I'm a middle-grade novelist, comic strip creator, greeting card maker, picture book author, illustrator, and crochet hat designer. I keep busy!
I have written a middle-grade novel titled Fritz Fombie Have No Fear, which will hopefully be available on Amazon by the end of March or early April. It's a fantasy/comedy/thriller that also helps children to see they're bigger than their fears. Hopefully children will be able to carry a little less fear into adulthood once they have read Fritz Fombie Have No Fear. We live in a time where many of us have fear because of what happens in our world. I wrote Fritz Fombie Have No Fear in a whimsical, funny way so children can enjoy the moment and see life in a positive way. Please come along on this writing adventure with me. Smile, I promise we'll have fun!
